Beyond the business aspect, design brings joy to Conchita

Since childhood, I have always been "making things." Whether it is knitting, sewing, graphic design or jewelry making, creativity has always been a crucial part of my life.

I was trained in Italy, at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milano, where I developed a keen eye for color and style. I then attended the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, Ca, earning a degree in Graphic Design and Packaging and graduating with honors.

For me, design is not only a business, but a lifestyle. I believe we are esthetic beings: we react to beautiful things and pleasing objects. I translate this into my design by creating visual systems that communicate my client's message with simple, accessible, abstract, fresh design. Clean shapes, a distinct ability to synthesize information, deep typography knowledge and a an unparalleled understanding of color make me an experienced communicator through graphic and digital design.

I started my career working with corporations such as Coca Cola Mexico, Univision, Monte Xanic Winery and Santo Tomás Winery. With over 20 years experience, I have specialized in small businesses, giving me a unique opportunity to engage with my clients on a personal level, resulting in years long working relationships.

"When I design, it is about colors, shapes, fonts, etc. When I knit, it is about yarn weights, textures and accents. When I decorate, it is about space, contrast and color. When I dress, it is about comfort, contrasting textures and accessories.

But it always stems from having an 'eye' or 'style' for creativity and an authentic, aesthetic result."
